I am a Christian but I even have a terrible time sitting in church because it usually seems like a meeting. Oh well...that is my personal problem I guess. :)<br /><br />I remember the late 70's quilt groups. I remember being intimidated by the older women that seemed to judge my simple quilting and my non traditional quilts. I liked to do funky type quilting, like lopsided log cabins and silly applique. I still do these and really haven't improved a whole lot but I now feel like I am happy with what I like and don't care if it isn't traditional. Now 'modern quilting' is what is popular!
